Scott Dunlop is a business lawyer with extensive expertise in the management and operation of enterprises, including: structuring and investment, executive employment, shareholder and partnership issues and mergers and acquisitions. He acts primarily for entrepreneurs and executives. He left a major Canadian law firm to practice at Beadle Raven.
Scott works with entrepreneurs to gain a complete understanding of their interests and goals in order to help them achieve the best result for their business. He employs rigorous strategic analysis, gained from 20 years of litigating business and employment cases and completing Harvard Law School training in negotiation, to successfully assess and manage legal issues and disputes.

Scott is a skilled advocate and practitioner of alternate dispute resolution. He has studied and taught mediation at Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers. He was on the Advisory Board of the CCH British Columbia Corporations Law Guide and the Editor of the Shareholder Remedies Chapter. He has acted for many of Canada’s major corporations. He has served as a director and Chair of Tennis BC, is currently a director of the Vancouver International Film Society and acts as counsel to sports and entertainment organizations.
